Class Observation

Finally… I have to do my class observation, I have to observe senior high school at Pangasinan State University Integrated School. And met Mam Aragon Janine Joy or ususally we called her as Mam Janine. She is so kindness, beautiful and she is so talk active. When I observed at her class. Oh My God, you should know that during her teaching processed she was never sit. she was standing infront of the class and explained her subject clearly. 
so, based on my observation, I have got:

1. Academic Support Sysrem

            For senior high school at PSU Integrated School, they have seven classes,  they also just need to finish their education in two years, so they start to learn at grade XI in senior high school, because they are finishing their junior highschool in four years. PSU Integrated highscool also has a library, Faculty room and Training Centre and there are instructional media like a projector, laptop, printer, etc for helping teacher to give a good stimulation for student.

2. Teaching System

            the learning process will started on 07.30 o’clock until 17.00 o’clock. This school using full day school system. One teacher teaching one subject a hour. There is 7 subject in one day for senior high school.

3. Material and Other Learning Sources

            For the english subject, they are not learning about language skills anymore because they are already learned it at junior high school. So in this grade they will learn about english literature especially literature at phillipines and literature at asia. Sometimes to complete the matery, the teacher using their own laptop and using the projector to get the attention of the students.

4. Measurement and Evaluation System

                 In the evaluation section, the teacher will report about the progress of the students and every end of the year and also there is a appreciate moments for the best students every class.

The great thing in here or PSU Integrated School that if you are an english teacher, you should speak english during the learning process and the amazing thing in here is all of the students can speak english. They started to speak english in their daily conversation since they were in Elementary School. Because basically in Philippines, english became the  second language. Awesome right….

            I was surprised because in PSU Integrated School, especially at senior high school, they are not learning about Language skills anymore. They already learned it at Junior High School, so in the senior high school, they learn about literature and how great it is because they are learning literature in Philippines, literature about they are country. This is because wherever they go, they will introducing their country, its seems like they got something in the other country but they also sharing the incredible thing about their country.

Although they don’t have proyector in their class, the students really enthusiasm during learning process. All of them focused with Mam Janine. Actually Mam Jannie is a good teacher in here, all of the students in here always accost to her every time they meet Mam Jenine.
